McIntosh & Associates is Hiring a Medicare Customer Service Representative Near Freeland, MI

We are a fast growing Financial and Insurance firm looking for an insurance agent to help grow our team. Are you driven, self-motivated, and customer focused? If you enjoy working with clients and developing long term relationships, constantly challenging yourself and providing superior customer service and expertise, then we want to talk with you.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who enjoys building customer relationships and who knows how to follow through with sales opportunities . Initial duties would include working along side other insurance agents servicing clients, making active outbound calls to set appointments, answering phones, client account maintenance and client relationship making.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle inside sales for customers who need help getting coverage or managing their policy by understanding the requirements of the customer and customize insurance plans to fit the need of each individual.
  • Explain different options to prospective client and encourage the sale of the insurance policy that best suits their needs.
  • Convert leads to sales through text, phone, or email by rapidly responding to customers who have requested a quote.
  • Adapt to new and ever changing technology as we build our processes and workflows.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Who you are:

  • Experienced: You must have at least 1-2 years experience in Insurance Industry and it is preferred to hold or required to obtain your Health Insurance License
  • Education: Bachelors degree preferred
  • Computer Savvy, experience with CRM is preferred
  • Self Driven: You prefer to manage your own workload and figure out what needs to be done with minimal oversight.

Skills / Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to go after sales and be competitive while still putting the client first.
  • Ability to analyze client’s requirements and think critically to find the best solutions for their needs.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • General and technical knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus!
  • A team player who is punctual and possesses a strong work ethic.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Responsible, trust worthy, with the ability to problem solve independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
